Open beta starts 1 September 2026

Your whole stream.
One app.

Beaconn is a free desktop app that runs your chatbot, overlays, alerts, giveaways, music and AI from a single dashboard. Install it, sign in with Twitch, go live.

Windows, Mac and Linux. No config files, no terminal, no account to make.

What's inside

Built to replace the pile of tabs

Most streamers run four or five tools at once and glue them together with hope. Beaconn does the lot, and every part talks to every other part.

Chatbot

A bot that bends to your channel

Commands, timers, counters, quotes and moderation, all with the same effect chain editor behind them. Set a command up once and it can do ten things in order.

  • Custom commands with aliases, permissions and cooldowns
  • Moderation filters for caps, links, emotes, symbols, zalgo, spam and bad words
  • Timers, counters and quotes with their own chains
  • Live chat monitor with badges, 7TV, BTTV and FFZ emotes

Overlays

Overlays that update while OBS is open

Drag components around in the visual builder, or drop into the code editor for full control. Each overlay gets one browser source URL. Hit save and OBS catches up in about half a second.

  • Visual builder with text, images, counters, progress bars and alert boxes
  • Full HTML, CSS and JS editor with live preview
  • Premade widgets: stream labels, countdown, stopwatch, chat, goals, lurk count, hype train
  • Custom fields on any widget, editable from the dashboard mid-stream

Effects

Chain anything to anything

A follow, a redemption, a bit cheer, a hotkey, a schedule, a chat command. All of them run an effect chain, and a chain can do whatever you want in whatever order you want.

  • 40 effect types: chat, alerts, sounds, OBS, HTTP, Discord, counters, points, speech
  • Conditions and random branches for chains that are not the same every time
  • Named Actions reused anywhere, with queues so two chains never talk over each other
  • Global hotkeys that still fire while a game has focus
A command's effect chain: a counter, a chat message, an AI response and a sound
Alerts

Alerts you actually designed

Several templates per event, picked at random with weights, so your fifth follow of the night does not look like the first. Build them visually or write them yourself.

  • Fonts, gradients, icons, animations and a nine point position grid
  • Multiple sounds per alert with their own volume and delay
  • Alert queue, so back to back events never overlap
  • One browser source for every alert you own

AI

An AI voice that sounds like your channel

Give the bot a personality, a set of rules and the context of what you are playing. It answers questions, joins in on its own if you let it, and can run locally on your own machine.

  • Ollama for local models, or OpenAI, Claude and Gemini with your own key
  • Persona and rules editor, with a test box that shows the result before chat sees it
  • Stream context: game, title and recent events fed into every prompt
  • Optional AI raid matching, so the suggested channel fits the stream you just ran

And the rest

Everything else in the box

Each of these is a full feature, not a checkbox. All of them are in the beta.

🎁

Giveaways

Keyword entry or channel point tickets, follower and sub filters, weighted draw, re-roll that skips the last winner.

🎵

Music player

Your own library, playlists, crossfade, shuffle and repeat, ducking under alerts, on its own OBS track so a claim cannot take the rest of your audio with it.

🗣

Text to speech

A Speak effect with a queue, length limits, a blocklist and a per viewer cooldown. Off until you turn it on.

Watchtime and points

Your own currency with a name you pick, earned by watching or chatting, with group multipliers and leaderboards.

🎯

Goals

Follower, sub, bit or custom goals that reset daily, weekly or monthly, keep a streak, and run a chain when they land.

😴

Lurk board

Live lurk list and all time leaderboard. Lurks end when someone talks, leaves, or the stream does.

👥

Groups and walk-ons

Group viewers by tier, role, follow status or name, then greet them with a sound, a message or a whole chain.

🎲

Polls and predictions

Twitch polls and predictions from the dashboard, live bars in an overlay, plus a prediction wheel with weighted odds.

🙋

Viewer queue

Join, leave, position and next, with optional sub or follower priority for playing with chat.

💜

Channel points

Create and edit rewards, work through the redemption queue, and wire any reward to a chain.

📺

OBS control

Scenes, sources, filters, recording and streaming, driven from any chain or hotkey.

🛡

Moderation

Eight filters with their own escalating actions, a permit command, the AutoMod queue and a full history per viewer.

🔇

Quiet mode

One hotkey mutes every sound the app can make, alerts and media included, while the rest of your chains carry on.

🖥

Mini overlay

A small always on top HUD with viewers, uptime, game and bot status, so you are not alt tabbing to check.

🎨

Themes and layout

Recolour the whole dashboard from one accent, pick your density, and drag the home page modules where you want them.

💾

Backups

Export the database and every uploaded file as one zip, or a lighter config export that is safe to share.

Pricing

Free. Forever.

Every feature, every update, no pro tier and nothing held back for a plan. Beaconn was built because the tools it replaces kept moving things behind a paywall.

The creator marketplace below is the only money the project will ever take, and most of that goes to the people making the things.

This is just the start...

What's coming later

Beta first, then the parts that let other people build on top. Nothing here is in the beta build, and none of it will ever be a paid tier of Beaconn itself.

After 1.0

Plugins

A documented SDK so anyone can add to Beaconn without waiting on us. Plugins slot into the registries that already run the app, so a plugin effect sits in the same menu as a built in one.

  • New effect types, widget components, dashboard modules and tags
  • Every plugin says up front what it wants: chat, storage, viewer data, which hosts it talks to
  • You see that list before it installs, and the app holds it to it
  • Install from a file or from the catalog, same file, same checks
In progress

Integrations

Beaconn already speaks to OBS and Twitch. Next is everything else that sits on a streaming desk, each one a trigger and a set of effects rather than a bolted on panel.

  • Tips from StreamElements and Streamlabs as a first class trigger
  • Beaconn Deck: a button grid on your phone, no extra hardware
  • Discord go live posts and event mirroring
  • Song requests, Spotify, Voicemod, VTube Studio, smart lights, MIDI, Stream Deck
Planned

Marketplace

One place to find overlays, widgets, themes and alert packs, free or paid, made by the people who use the app. Install straight into Beaconn, no zip files and no folder hunting.

  • Sell what you make: overlay sets, widgets, alert packs, dashboard themes, plugins
  • Grab a free pack and have it running on stream in a couple of clicks
  • Everything shares the same bundle format, so it works the same whoever made it
  • Creators keep the bulk of what they earn
